I always thought that if we got another Pokken, Lokix from Gen 9 would be a really sick addition. A Bug/Dark pokemon with flashy but strong kick attacks to jump around opponents and whittle them down, then finishing them with a flying dive kick super to really make the full callback to the Kamen Rider series and Tokusatsu genre its design was inspired by.

Disappointed by the lack of Wart. I'd replace Chain Chomp and Gooigi with Wart and Birdo.

I’m not fully on board with a Nintendo kart idea. I think it’d detract from Smash and Mario Kart. However, I’m down for it if it can stand out on its own. The roster for it is really good. I want Kirby, Dedede, Samus, and Olimar as guests in Mario Kart anyway! And King K Rool is a must for me personally. A very good set of rosters and tracks!

Tour is not a spin off Nintendo Counts it as a main game also there was no official statement that that tour was spinoff and no beign on smart devices doesnt count to call it a spinoff Nintendo is in charge and they count tour as a main Mario Kart game so deal with it 😤

I think the next smash will be very frustrating for veterans if there isn't some drastic moveset rework for old characters, especially if they focus on representation rather than having interesting movesets. The tought of losing jigglypuff, diddy kong and a lot more interesting new characters in order to preserve a ton of boring main characters is very scary. Mockups like this are especially scary because it feels like all the deep and interesting characters just disappeared and we are left with the most boring ones.

Would people PLEASE SHUT UP ABOUT HEAVILY LEANING INTO CROSSOVERS IN MARIO KART! PLEASE! I’M TIRED OF IT! *Ahem,* as per my opinion, 8 Deluxe handled them well. A few characters, kart parts, and a few tracks, 1 per bonus cup (not one of the main 8), strikes a great balance. Crossovers are allowed to exist, but they don’t feel like they’re hijacking/taking over Mario Kart. It’s still Mario Kart at its core, the central/majority of content, as well as stuff like items, is still Mario, there’s just a bit of crossing over as a small bonus. However, I feel as though doing really anything more than that would start to feel invasive. If crossover characters took up a higher percentage of the roster, if crossover tracks were more prevalent or part of the main 8 cups, or even if a single item was part of a crossover, that’s where boundaries are being overstepped. I feel as though Mario Kart should be based around Mario, and that if it starts to focus on crossovers, then it just won’t feel right. I would like to preface that, while there is a prevalence of opinions I am in major disagreement with, I do, for the most part, respect all other opinions on the matter. Or at least, I try to. I’m just very annoyed with the prospect of crossovers hijacking one of my favorite game series.

A crossover game seems cool but I think I would prefer the next one be a Mario Kart. There's so much untapped potential for the roster and race tracks, we need one really great Mario Kart that makes up for what 8 Deluxe didn't do before we get a crossover game

Seeing everyone's preferences for keeping Mario Kart for Mario, I wonder if people would prefer if Mario Kart is the base game, and all the DLCs are crossovers?

After finnaly finishing the game after a lot of hicups I can finnaly see this pair of videos. I really hope they add her in the game, she is my favorite character from all 3 xenoblade games and 3 was my favorite game ever so I would main the heck out of her or at least try.

i 100% believe steve needs tons of cosmetic touch ups, he ought to look like he does in the trailers and also be animated similarly (for clarity and just for looking cool, like your example) the alternate skins should also be the new default ones (keeping zombie and enderman of course)

I think if we got a crossover one, we might see Pac-Man and Mametchi; since they've both been in arcade Mario Kart games, and are both Bandai Namco characters. Oh, and I definitely think we'd see a Xenoblade stage. Since they're technically in-house now, and those locations are too incredible not to pluck one from.

While not a fan of the Nintendo Kart idea, Cap Falcon deserves a place in a Mario Kart roster if F-Zero is not coming back at least doing something like that could work

That hookshot item literally sounds like the rope item from Lego Racers. I would find it hilarious if Nintendo actually took an idea directly from one of the first kart racers i ever played. Also, seeing my boy Kirby in ario Kart after that was teased in Rosalina's Sm4sh trailer would make me very happy. Dedede would be an instant main for me in a "Nintendo kart" game btw.

I have some ideas for potential Sonic content: -Characters: Sonic (M), Tails (M), Dr. Eggman (L) Emerald Cup Idea 1: Just because it's only Sonic characters running the race, doesn't mean Sonic's fellow all-stars aren't given service. -Seaside Hill (The seeming default when it comes to Sonic and racing games, racers speed through a beautiful beach environment as well as portions of Ocean Palace, avoiding Egg Pawns and rolling wheels along the way) -Samba Carnival (Race through the festive streets of a Latin-American town while Amigo and his crew celebrate from the sidelines) -Tokyo-to (Understand the concept of love as you drive through a 90s-esque urban landscape. Try not to run into Beat and Gum as they skate by) -Dream Valley (Fly around the beautiful Spring Valley level, featuring plenty of glider segments to harken to the game of origin. If you look carefully, you can spot NiGHTS themselves flying alongside you) Emerald Cup Idea 2: Just plain old Sonic based tracks -Seaside Hill -Chemical Plant (the second most brought back level in the series, the pink Mega Mack lends itself to decent stretches of underwater driving) -Casino Park (another grab from Heroes, this sectioned course takes you along glamorous streets and even a giant pinball table) -Egg Speedway (an original course designed by Eggman to put racers through the paces, Egg Pawns, crushing pistons, and maybe a Death Egg Robot serve to impede you as you race through this industrial shell of evil)

Sonic and Pacman better be in the next Mario Kart. Crash would be cool but highly unlikely

Personally I like the direction they went with MK8D: mostly Mario with some Nintendo crossover. I like the crossover ideas you have, but I do feel a couple just don't make sense. F-Zero representation makes sense since it's Nintendo's other racing game. Star Fox to me though is only relevant because of Smash, so Fox and a corresponding track just doesn't make sense to me. Great video all around.

As much as i like these concepts, just keep the "Mario" in "Mario Kart". We really don’t need a full-on crossover game.
